The authorities have proved themselves capable, not only during this visit of the Indian PM Narendra Modi, but every time some guests of importance arrive. I was actually clueless about what they’d been doing then. Strangled by the question, I asked my sister about it. And she said, “Well, your room is always dirty, but every time someone visits home, it’s clean. It’s the same thing.”
That was a kick in the butt. The authorities have grown up to do things, only under the pressure, in the last moment. So, like in any business administration, strict directives and punishment for their laziness, and motivation like giving credit to their efforts, raise in paycheck and innovative workspace would do the trick.
